Mallory Worthington has had enough of being treated like a fragile flower. She needs to get out of Dodge, as far and fast as possible. Somewhere no one knows about her childhood battle with cancer. A talented chef working at her family’s flagship hotel, she leaps at the first job opportunity that meets her criteria – personal chef and nanny for a reclusive and insanely hot billionaire in the Florida Keys. She doesn't know a lot about the nanny part, but how hard can it be?
Billionaire Rhys Dalton cut himself off from the world after his wife was killed. Living on this remote island was the only way he could ensure the safety of his son. Finding someone willing to help him take care of his child, well that's been a challenge right up until Mallory knocks on his office door. She makes him think and feel things he hasn't in years. He's smart, so he fires her on the spot.
But she's not going anywhere, no matter how hard he might try to get rid of her...

I’m still amazed at how much I loved A Nanny For the Reclusive Billionaire. Single-dads falling for the nanny stories are like my kryptonite, and Ms. Kyle couldn’t have written a better one.
Mallory is a chef working at her family’s hotel. A battle with cancer as a teen has left her with OTT overprotective parents that are slowly driving her crazy, even when everything they do is out of love.
Accepting a live-in nanny position to some billionaire secluded on a private island in Florida seemed like the best way to get some very much needed space. She never imagined all that she would find once she got there.
Rhys lost his wife in a very tragic way which led him to sequester himself and his 4-year-old, Oliver, in his island mansion. Plagued with guilt and many more issues that stemmed from that tragedy, he’s devoted himself completely to work as he didn’t really know how to deal with his now motherless little boy.
Things don’t start in the best of ways once Mallory gets to her post. Actually, one could say things don’t start at all as Rhys fires her on the spot. When a replacement can’t be magically produced, they come to agree that she’ll stay until some else can come take her place. Soon, Mallory and Oliver become attached, and not much long after Rhys must admit that his attraction to Mallory runs deeper than he’d have thought. All of them have issues, though, and they’ll have to overcome them if they want their chance at a happily ever after.
I absolutely loved everything about this book. Mallory was fun, sweet, caring and didn’t let anything drag her down. She was a fighter, and though she had to learn to be more assertive, she was a great character. The way she connected and interacted with little Oliver was more than cute and was probably one of my favorite things about the story. Rhys started off as an implacable workaholic, he even seemed closed off and detached. However, inside he was all heart, and once his self-imposed walls begin to fall he could be tender and charming, downright sexy and the greatest dad a little boy could ask for.
I loved how much Oliver was a part of the story. How entwined in the steamy romance between Mallory and Rhys was the three of them becoming a family.
With great characters, awesome chemistry, plenty of sexy shenanigans and the cutest 4-year-old; A Nanny For the Reclusive Billionaire was a total hit for me in every way and I’m thrilled to have found a new to me fabulous author.
