He’s neat, always on time, and a professed workaholic. I’m chaotic, always running late, and looking for more from life than just my job. Yet our mutual attraction is undeniable.

The last thing I expected after our first date was to have Simon show up at my office. The warm and funny guy I’d met was now gone, replaced by the cold and calculating man in an impeccable suit. While my professional future is in his hands, I can’t stop thinking about how his hands felt on my body.

Whatever had started between us can’t possibly happen now, but that’s easier said than done. Because the more I try not to think of his sexy smirk or delicious accent, the harder it is to stay away. And if our forbidden office kiss is any indication, his resolve is slipping too.

I’ve sworn I’d never fall for a man who puts his job first.Too bad my heart isn’t listening. *** Without Apology is a standalone romance for mature audiences due to steamy bedroom scenes that are in no way contained to just the bedroom.***

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

By SparklesHoly office romance, Batman!! Without Apology was an incredibly fun, uber sexy-hot story and I loved it from start to finish.

Peyton and Simon have a fantastic meet-cute at the grocery store and their chemistry and attraction are off the charts from the very start. A phenomenal first date leaves them both eager to make time in their respectively busy schedules to see each other again. Only fate has a funny sense of humor and they find themselves on opposites sides of a desk.

Not only will they be working closely together for weeks, but Simon has, more or less, Peyton’s company’s future in his hands.

Simon doesn’t do relationships and the fact that he never stays too long any place doesn’t exactly promote attachments. He’s focused 1000% on work and jeopardizing that is just not going to happen, even if he has found the woman of his dreams he never knew he had.

Peyton can’t really mesh “Brexy” the sexy British guy who charmed her on their date with the cold, aloof and in control douche doing the audit. Even if he’s still making her hormones go gaga she swore she’d never fall for a workaholic, and Simon matches that word to a T.

What follows is two people incredibly attracted to each other trying to fight the pull and failing. But is it possible to separate business and pleasure? And when their emotions start to get involved, how can they expect to just turn them off in the boardroom and back on when they’re off the clock?

Well, it wouldn’t be much fun for you if I told you how that works out, but you can expect one scorching hot sexy ride to find out.

I really loved Peyton, she was natural and real, she came as she was and made no apologies about it. She knew what she wanted out of life and wouldn’t compromise for anything less. She was hard-working, loyal, loving and funny.

Simon was absurdly sexy with his hot looks and hotter accent and completely adorkable in his approach to dating Peyton. He had all the moves and then some, and his obsessive neatness just cracked me up, especially when Peyton put it to the test.

They both had some issues to overcome, but I thoroughly enjoyed the progress of their relationship. I loved Peyton’s family and dog, and I’m hoping Simon’s PA, Emma gets her own HEA with a tattooed biker hot guy.

I have to confess that I felt some of the sex scenes could have been cut out, especially after they start forming a deeper bond, but I wasn’t put off or anything like that.

With lots of humor, a great pace and fabulous banter, Without Apology was a truly awesome read. I loved the characters and their close ones, the way they got to grow through their story and the epilogue got the half star there at the end… it was really just that amazing.

4.5 “Brexy” Stars
