Getting on his knees makes him question everything…and want even more…
Another failed relationship has lawyer Jamie Fielding confronting the truth—he’ll never be satisfied with any woman until he admits what he needs…to submit and to be used—hard. When a friend invites him to the exclusive Blasphemy club, Jamie is stunned to find everything he ever wanted—in the fierce, ruthless hands of a man.
Psychiatrist Alex McGarry will play with anyone who craves his rough brand of domination, but what he really wants is to settle down. Which makes the submissive male he meets at his club a bad idea—the man might be hot as hell but he’s also new to everything Alex has to offer. Except that doesn’t keep them from coming together again and again, sating every one of their darkest desires.
Master Alex sets Jamie’s whole world on fire and makes him question everything—and that’s good. Because Alex won’t tolerate hiding what they have for long and he wants much more than just having Jamie on his knees...

Meet the Masters of Blasphemy…
So far the books in the Blasphemy Series have been short, sweet, super hot and surprisingly emotional. When I saw the synopsis for On His Knees, I only hesitated about a second when I saw it was M/M and leaned towards the S/M side of BDSM. That’s a bit out of my comfort zone, but I knew Ms. Kaye would make this work, and boy was I right.
Right from the start, I loved that Jamie wasn’t some immature child of a man looking for a Daddy figure to rein him in. I’ve seen that one too many times in BDSM books with a M/M element and it usually does nothing for me. Jamie was a great guy who’d done well for himself as a lawyer. He knew he was missing something with the way his relationships were going and set about trying to figure out what “it” was. Once a well meaning friend clued him into his possible masochism, he took a very methodical and well thought out approach to finding out if it really was for him. His kink may not be my kink but I respected the hell out of the way he went about figuring things out and coming to terms with his needs.
Jesus, the man tasted like sin and sex, like he could ruin him and put him back together again. It was a kiss that might’ve taken Jamie to his knees. A kiss he’d never forget.
To say Alex was gun-shy about starting anything with Jamie was an understatement. Alex’s needs were particular and hard to meet. I think as the resident sadist, he had become jaded and was no longer getting the fulfillment he had in the past. He was looking to settle down, but he’d been burned before and knew starting something with someone brand new to the scene was a bad idea, no matter how well Jamie seemed to fit his needs.
When had he last witnessed such a pure example of the freeing power of this lifestyle? When had anyone he’d played with recently found so much of themselves in a scene?
Surprisingly, even though M/M isn’t my jam, Alex and Jamie were so freaking hot together it’s a wonder that my iPad didn’t catch on fire. What ratcheted up the heat factor was the emotional aspect as Jamie discovered huge parts of himself and what made him tick.
The only thing that didn’t work well for me was the drama at the end, well, Jamie’s show of contrition. I can’t even put my finger on why, other than to say it felt overly dramatic and I couldn’t picture Jamie acting that way. Other than that little blip, I enjoyed the heck out of On His Knees, and can’t wait to see what Ms. Kaye has in store for the next Blasphemy Master to fall.
