Piper West is finally on her own, and it's time to get crazy. Except that her overprotective big bro has enlisted his ex-cop best friend to keep an eye on his baby sister. With every move monitored and reported back, Piper's life has gone from "going crazy" to "being driven crazy." But a searing-hot kiss with her sexy and scarred watchdog is just the game-changer she needs...

Cole Black owes Piper's brother big-time, but there's nothing easy about his new assignment. Piper is all feisty sexiness and curves meant to tempt a man beyond reason, and Cole can't stop himself. Now he's caught up in a hunger like nothing he's ever known, and he can't get enough... Even if Piper's the one girl he's not allowed to have.

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

EDGy Review

Reviewed Sparkles 1I’m promptly adding Ms. Gray to my auto-buy author, as I’ve yet to find one of her books I’ve not enjoyed the crap out of. Wrecked was just as sexy, fun, hot and sweet as I was expecting.

We know Piper has had a crush on Cole, her big brother’s best friend since the start of time. What we didn’t know is that Cole has known Piper was the one woman for him since he stopped seeing her as a little girl when she turned 16. Unfortunately, Cole’s dream of home and family were derailed when a work accident left him hurt and scarred both on the outside and the inside from the guilt of being the cause of his partner’s death.

Now a cop no longer he has moved into town to work as manager of Piper’s brother’s security agency, making him more indebted to his friend that he’ll ever know how to repay. This takes his chance of being with Piper more and more into impossible territory.

Piper is finally living on her own and has decided to move on from her unrequited love for Cole. This will be harder than she thought when her brother moves Cole next door to her. Now we get to witness Piper tempting the shit out of Cole, and he starts to wear down.

Piper was a sweetheart, keeping everyone happy even to the point of disregarding her own needs. I struggled a bit with her unwillingness to open up to her family about her dissatisfaction with things as they were. Although she found another way to express herself, I still felt a little communication could have reduced her self-created angst levels.

While I loved Cole in many aspects, he had the whole I’m-unworthy-of-her-perfectness thing going on, that if not handled quickly-ish gets on my nerves. He didn’t handle it fast enough for my liking, but his ultimate lack of willpower resisting Piper was enough to balance that out and not drive me crazy. Still, he was bossy, alpha and I adored how he felt and thought about Piper, and which makes me want to find a Cole of my own.

“As soon as everyone leaves, I’m going to bend you over that table, and play with you until you’re so wet, so desperate for my cock, your thighs are slick with need. Then I’m going to fuck you until you scream my name.”

As always, I found the story well paced and balanced and with enough character growth in between the hot sexy shenanigans. Wrecked is one of those romances you can’t help but enjoy.
