Harper
I never expected my fiancé to break things off.I'd saved myself for my wedding night, and now I'm left wondering why.Needing to get away, I ran to my uncle's cabin in the woods. But a storm has left me stranded on Jax's doorstep, and soon enough he takes me in his arms. And on the floor. And on the table. And in the great outdoors. Our time together has left me with a big problem ... a problem a wild man like him can't fix.A problem that makes me run ... because I need a man who believes in true love and commitment.I need a man who is ready to be a father.*** *** *** *** *** ***
NOTE: Originally published as a five-part serial titled TIMBER. This includes all five parts, plus 15,000 extra words of bonus material: ACE 1.
WARNING: This story contains graphic language and an untamed man who takes a virgin. Please don't read if you're not ready for hot sex that will make you reach for that vibrator hidden under your pillow. If the batteries are out, your own hand will do. No shame, babycakes. Enjoy this steamy story! You deserve it.

OMG! Let me start this review by saying I picked Timber up as kind of a joke. It was free at the moment it came to my attention and by some of the reviews I just couldn’t help myself, I had to see what it was like.
I was hoping to get a raunchy Alexa Riley meets Jordan Silver kind of story, which proves to you I do read this trope when I’m in a certain mood, but this whole thing was just… confusing.
Harper, who comes from what seems a very narrow-minded, rigid religious family, is the epitome of innocent, sheltered young girl who turns into porn-star-worthy sex adept from just one look at the H. So that happens. But she has deep(ish) beliefs and she struggles with leaving the life her family chose. And then she doesn’t. And then she does again. And then she definitely doesn’t again.
Jax’s character made absolutely ZERO effing sense. He was supposed to be this manwhore who slept with anything that walked, landing himself in trouble. So, instead of being a grown-up and start discriminating where he puts it, he decides to seclude himself as “the city life is not for him anymore” and starts deforesting a mountain with his ax for no apparent reason.
The rest is some raunchy sex, a guy that goes over the side of hot-and-cold and into multiple-personality-disorder, a girl who’s so “naïve” she makes a jellyfish look smart, and a ton of other crap that makes almost no sense at all. I laughed my ass off at the absurdity of it all. In all honesty? I’d say don’t bother with this one.
