Dear Santa,
All I want for Christmas is the secret potion that’ll help me resist my brother’s new business partner. You know, the super hot, super sweet, super smart guy I now have to plan all the holiday parties with.
I mean, really. Who thought THAT was a good idea?
Oh, me. Yep, brilliant, strategic me who raised her hand and said yes I’d love to hang mistletoe with that sexy former sports star. I’d love to taste test spiked hot chocolate with that charming, flirty man. I’d love to get snowed in with the one guy I shouldn’t fall for.
As long as I can make it through the holidays I’ll be on my merry way, fa la la la la. But the holidays have a surprise for me.

Ho, Ho, Ho!

My first Christmas novella for the season 🙂

A sweet Christmas romance novella to get you in the festive mood.

Lauren Blakely’s Special Delivery started off slow but picked up when Vaughan and Quinn are placed together in charge of Christmas decorating. They hit it off instantly sharing memories of Christmas past and their love of the festive season.

Dieting is a forbidden word during Christmas time in my world. Vaughan, God love him, has placed himself on a strict relationship diet. With no cheat days! Now with Quinn tempting his resolve, you would think he’d consider a 5-2 diet, but no, for him it’s all or nothing. The humour used to portray Vaughan’s food analogies had me chuckling.

Quinn has a distinctive voice, with an upbeat strong air about her that resonated well within the nstory. She takes her event planning business seriously and does her best to ignore that Vaughan ticks more than one of her perfect-for-me man boxes!

They are both likeable characters with quirky and obsessive personalities who were made for each other. Unfortunately they also have experienced breakups that took them a while to recover from with neither ready to risk being hurt again.

“A date here, a night there. What’s the worst that could happen?”

One thing leads to another and before they know it, Cupid strikes and Christmas comes early for Vaughan and Quinn. This was an entertaining diversion from all the December crazyness that I thoroughly enjoyed. Having enjoyed getting to know Vaughan and Quinn, I am keen now to add other books from the Always Satisfied series to my TBR list!
