He is everything she doesn’t want, so why does she want him so badly?
From the New York Times Bestselling Author Penny Reid
One week.Private beach.Invisible girl.Jerk-faced bully. What’s the worst that could happen?
Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke—bad boy, jerkface bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor—who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner.Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and family's billionaire fortune. Kaitlyn wants Martin for his brain, specifically to tabulate findings of trace elements in surface water.
When Kaitlyn saves Martin from a nefarious plot, Martin uses the opportunity to push Kaitlyn out of her comfort zone: spring break, one week, house parties, bathing suits, and suntan lotion. Can she overcome her aversion to being noticed? Will he be able grow beyond his self-centered nature? Or, despite their obvious chemistry, will Martin be the one to drive Kaitlyn into the science cabinet of obscurity for good?

For the very first time in the history of me reading a Penny Reid story, I’m not buying it. I call bullshit! There is no freaking way these people are practically kids. And yet… I don’t give a flying fig because this book is SO FREAKING GOOD!!!
Now, the first thing you need to know about Attraction is that it ends in a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers. The second thing you need to know is that the two books that follow Attraction are actually all out so there will be nothing stopping you from reading this whole story from start to finish.
Kaitlyn Parker’s life is as neat and tidy as Kaitlyn herself. Rational thinking is the way to an easy existence and she is a pro at it. Her outlook on life meant she was as quirky as she was unintentionally funny, smart, honest and strived to be the best version of herself she could be.
Martin Sandeke, Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner and rowing-hunk, is her polar opposite. Abrasive, confident and bigger than life, he’s nothing more than a very handsome face (with the hottest bod) and freakishly smart brains to her. That is, until a situation forces her to interact with him in other than the strictly chem-lab-partner condition. This unleashes a cornucopia of unexpectedness and nothing will be the same ever again.
Suddenly, Kaitlyn finds herself being swept away into a private island for Spring Break and being thoroughly and repeatedly kissed by a complete new-to-her and totally-non-jerk Martin. The more Kaitlyn gets to know him, the more she starts to like him, but she’s totally inexperienced and not accustomed to being led by her feelings.
Whole new worlds open up for them both, and as they spend more and more time together, they realize they have a very special thing between them. With some serious past issues to resolve, they’ll have quite the ride if they want to make it together.
Supremely aptly named, Attraction is all hot chemistry and undeniable attraction. I swear, the tension between Martin and Kaitlyn was palpable and they had me glued to my kindle from their first interaction. They also had me desperately one-clicking on the next installment, and I’m pretty confident that’ll happen again with the third and last part of the story sometime tonight… because who cares about being a zombie at work when you can spend a night with Martin Sandeke?
Disregarding the whole “there’s-no-way-these-people-are-this-age-and-I’ll-just-pretend-they-are-older” (because really, I don’t even care anymore) Attraction gripped me and wouldn’t let me go. I just can’t wait to keep on reading (which in reality, I haven’t, as I’m already 36% into Heat)
