Best of June 2019

July 15, 2019 An EDGy Roundup 0

Well, I have a fabulous reason for dragging the chain with the best of the month post – I’ve been off travelling for the first time in ages. It’s been so long since I left Australia that my passport had expired sometime during the last century 😂

Armed with a fully loaded Kindle and iPad, my plan was to catch up on reading during my long flights. Well, I got a bit of reading in, but nowhere near as much as I expected. I discovered it was much easier to watch a movie or three and a season of Friends than it was to go from book to book 😮

I have been lucky to have some downtime between coming home and returning to work. Adjusting to reality takes getting used to, so I opted for a bit of armchair travelling. Where did I go? Well, Sector 4 (Beyond Series by Kit Rocha – stay tuned for a review or two later), Bethany-Kris’ latest book – Corrado (another smoking hot read and I can’t wait to see what’s next for him) and Old Flame by Sam Mariano (A Morelli family spin off featuring Dante, Mateo’s brother).

Of course, I need to step out of the spotlight for a beat and pay tribute to my blogging buddies who juggled blogging duties in my absence. We all feel it when one of us is missing and I look forward to doing my part again! Thanks ladies 😘

Do you follow Edgy on FB or Twitter? If not, you missed seeing that Penny Reid has her Knitting in the City Series up on KU!! We have found social media is the easiest and quickest way to share bargains and freebies as soon as we come across them.

Next on the agenda is reading an ARC of The Dust and The Roar by Cat Porter.  We never cease to be excited when we are all reading the same book together 😃

Now to share our recommended reads from June to help you find your next book!

Happy reading!

Lily ♥️
