Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a Queen—the first Queen of Wessco.
It’s a big deal.
When she’s crowned at just nineteen, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident and cunning.
What she isn’t… is married.
It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want.
Lenora has no desire to tie herself to a man—particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty.
Even Queens. Especially them.
Years ago, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke, walked away from his title and country. Now he’s an adventurer—climbing mountains, exploring jungles, going wherever he wants, when he wants—until family devotion brings him home.
And a sacred promise keeps him there.
To Edward, the haughty, guarded little Queen is intriguing, infuriating…and utterly captivating. Wanting her just might drive him mad—or become his greatest adventure.
Within the cold, stone walls of the royal palace—mistrust threatens, wills clash, and an undeniable, passionate love will change the future of the monarchy forever.
Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story.
This is theirs.

Royally Yours was the perfect royal romance. I’ve read the first book in the series and absolutely loved it, so when I realized that the Queen grandma was getting her story told, I didn’t hesitate to jump in.
Lenore was raised to become the first ever Queen of her country. All she’s ever known is duty, be it to family or country and when she is crowned at 19, this only becomes more pronounced.
Edward left all the falsehood of nobility protocols behind when he left the country. Then tragedy brings him back home and then binds him to Lenore. Even though he’s more than captivated by the young monarch, his new life is the exact opposite of his previous adventurous existence.
I absolutely adored how the set up of this story was done. We get to witness how Lenore was brought up, and this gave us a more profound understanding of why she’d act like a 50-year-old seasoned politician at only 19. She was incredibly selfless and mature beyond her years. Her only focus was doing the best for her country and her people, and nothing else really mattered. That is until Edward steps in, and a whole new world appears.
Edward was exactly what Lenore needed to actually experience life. Bossy and alpha enough not to be cowed by Lenore’s strong personality and iron will, he was playful, sexy and worldly. I totally loved the way he understood Lenore’s needs and was set on getting to her softest core.
“I was made for this… for her. To cherish her, protect her and challenge her, to guide her and follow her–to be the man she needs, so she can be the woman, the queen, she was always meant to be.”
It’s clear I found them lovely and adorable as a couple. I loved the way the got to know one another and grow close, and fond of each other. Their chemistry was fabulous and their slow build-up led to some seriously hot shenanigans.
“Love is bloody awful, Chicken. And fantastic. A beautiful, horrible, messy thing. It will make you feel like you can fly one day and rip your guts out the next.”
Royally Yours evoked all the feels, from smiling at the sweetness of their romance, to fanning myself at their encounters and it had me teary-eyed more than once. I run the whole gamut of emotions and I was hooked from the start to the very last word. A completely relationship driven story, it was exactly what I expected and it’s redoubled my desire to catch up on the other installments in this series.
