They’re serving up some red-hot revenge. A sizzling series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel van Dyken.

Blaire has never quite gotten over Jessie Beckett, the ex–NFL star whose kisses were hot enough to ignite the entire Eastern Seaboard. When he chose work over her, Blaire was left brokenhearted. Why else would she have married a skeezy two-timer, just to divorce him less than a year later?

Now Blaire is getting even by becoming one half of Dirty Exes, a PI firm fully committed to humiliating cheating jerks. If only the new jerk she’s been hired to uncover wasn’t Jessie Beckett himself.

Exposing Jessie isn’t going to be easy, especially when she still daydreams about his sexy smile. Further complicating matters is Colin, Jessie’s best friend. He’s gorgeous, a little bit cunning, and willing to help Blaire get the inside scoop on Jessie—for a price.

Now caught between two men—one totally right and the other totally wrong—Blaire will need to decide just how much she’s willing to risk…and whom she’s willing to risk it for.

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

By LilyI was all pumped up for Dirty Exes, a story about two annoyed women out to seek revenge on behalf of the sisterhood. Throw in a twist where one suspect happened to be a familiar face and then I wanted a front row seat! A slight distraction overtook all of our attention off the main game and revenge all of a sudden wasn’t as cracked up as it seemed.

If I was Blaire’s life coach, I would be sitting her down for a serious talk about what’s best for her because while her skills are getting results, her execution of said skills are troublesome. Her working conditions suck to be blunt. The dedication she employs is to be commended but gee, there has to be an easier way to earn a living. While the work itself was dirty, the perks associated with their latest client was well worth her time.

Blaire meets her match, personally and professionally when it is her turn to catch their next cheater in action. A comical run of blunders has Blaire looking like she couldn’t catch a trick if her life depended on it. As the job she’s on puts her in a precarious position, she has to choose whether to put her feelings before her client’s wishes or not. She opts to continue acting for the client, a decision she quickly starts to question.

What sold me was the romantic distraction Blaire encounters. Oh boy, she wins the jackpot but the prize is so good she’s hesitant to claim it. Now this is where self doubt stirred up a massive dose of hesitation. I’m all up for a bit of angst and such but seriously, Blaire needed to get a hold of her habit of doubting her worth. Thankfully, she has a determined advocate who intends on setting her straight.

Dirty Exes was a light hearted romance that got down and dirty in all senses of the word! While I was expecting a more action based story, I was happy to find Blaire’s personal life was more entertaining than I initially imagined.
