Dreams.
I never had one. Never even knew what a dream was until a certain unassuming Carpino waltzed into my life. That day my world tilted.
It became unhinged.
I might not have been a dreamer, but she was.
She wrote the words missing from my life. Her notes ignited my heart. Her flame lit up my darkness.
Her dreams became mine and I’d move heaven and earth to give them life.
Especially when my past surfaced and threatened to kill every dream we had.
Until Avery, I had nothing. But I’m Link Forester. I’d fight for her, for us, because right now, I have everything to lose.
Warning: The author will have a dramatic fit—Scarlett O’Hara style—if anyone under the age of eighteen touches this book.
This is a Carpino crossover novella by Brynne Asher written for the Happily Ever Alpha Kindle World of NYT Bestselling Author, Aurora Rose Reynolds.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This is it. It’s been confirmed. Ms. Asher can write whatever the hell she wants and I will love it. Any genre, any topic, any length. I. Will. Freaking. Love. It. All.
Until Avery was perfect even though it’s a novella. This means there’s no way you wouldn’t want to have more time with the main characters, but I can say I was totally satisfied by the end of it. Would I have read 250 more pages of it? Absolutely. Do I have any complaints? Not a one.
With lots of action, a little suspense and crazy hot shenanigans there was nothing missing in this story. Avery and Link’s chemistry was off the charts and I completely enjoyed witnessing them becoming a couple.
Avery was sweet, loving and had some sass and humor. I totally loved her and her character growth. For a young woman, I especially liked how she wasn’t immature but still acted her age.
Link was the stuff legends are made of. I can’t believe how well Ms. Asher captured “The Boom”. He was alpha, bossy, protective and possessive. He had the muscles and the tattoos, and once he set his sights on little Avery, he was full steam ahead.
I adored the glimpses we got of the Mayson and Carpino clans. Hearing from beloved characters is always a plus, and the epilogue was just awesome. Everything was awesome. AWE-FREAKING-SOME! This is one story you don’t want to miss.
