Let me count the ways why falling into forbidden love is not my wisest move…1. She works with me every single day.Did I mention she's gorgeous, sweet, kind and smart?2. She works in my home.Playing with my five-year-old daughter. Teaching my little girl. Cooking for my princess. Which means…3. She's the nanny. And that makes her completely off-limits…But it doesn’t stop me from wanting her. All of her.

The other nannies in this city don't call him the Sexy One for nothing. My boss, the amazingly wonderful single father to the girl I take care of every day is ridiculously hot, like movie star levels with those arms, and those eyes, and that body. Not to mention, the way he dotes on his little girl melts me all over. But what really makes my knees weak are the times when his gaze lingers on me. In secret. When no one else is around.

I can't risk my job for a chance at something more…can I? But I don’t know how to resist him much longer either…

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

By SparklesSince the very second I read The Sexy One’s blurb I knew I’d love it, and I absolutely did.

Simon is the sexiest single dad in all of the city. Not only because he is hot as sin and successful, but because he dotes on his little girl. Wanting the best for her, once his divorce is final and he gets primary custody, he sets on getting the best nanny possible. In comes Abby: sweet, patient, caring and the perfect match for his baby girl. Only as time goes by, it seems like Abby isn’t perfectly matched to little Hayden alone, but to him as well.

It took Abby all of 3 whole days to fall in love with her new boss, but she doesn’t want to be a cliché and put her job in jeopardy. Especially when her crush seems unrequited. When things start to look less one-sided and Simon and Abby’s attraction becomes too much to handle, will they succumb to the lust and risk the good thing they have?

I absolutely loved how their romance is a slow but steady build into a wonderful relationship. The fact that there’s really not much angst at all totally rocked my world. The whole story centers on the development of their connection and the exploration of their shared chemistry.

“Abby is thoroughly single, and I pump a virtual fist. Not that I’m going to ask her on a date. But hell, if I can’t have her, no one else should. Yeah, I know that sounds unfair and possessive. So be it. I have a caveman inside of me. I might hide him most of the time under the crisp shirts in my Upper East Side lair, but he’s here, and I don’t want anyone else to get his hands on this woman.”

The Sexy One is full of feels, fun banter and the cutest little girl ever. I enjoyed it immensely, as proven by reading it in one sitting. It had me smiling from start to finish and I wanted it to keep going for-e-ver.
