Warning: This is not a typical love story. This is an all-consuming, soul-crushing, tear-your-heart-into-pieces story. It’s intense, gritty and raw, dark and disturbing, and it doesn’t happen overnight. This is an epic love story that knows no boundaries and has no time limits. It grows and develops—with hurt, sacrifice, and heartache—over the span of a lifetime.
Eva Fox is the princess of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club. Growing up with bikers in the club lifestyle is all that she knows. When she’s a young girl, Eva meets the reason for her existence. Deuce West is the sexy, biker bad-ass of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Like Eva, he was born and raised in the club—but that’s where the similarities end. Their first meeting is innocent, but as Eva matures into a woman, their chance reunions evolve into a fit of lust and love. Fate continues to bring them together time and time again, but their twisted journey is filled with pain, betrayal, and bloodshed that could tear them apart. Eva sees in Deuce what he cannot see in himself—a man worthy of love—and Eva spends her lifetime proving to him that her undeniable love is the one thing he can’t live without.
This is Eva and Deuce’s story.
It wasn’t easy. Nothing worth doing ever is.And love is worth everything.
Undeniable is so much more than a comfort read. It features on my favourite lists making me smile each time as I reflect on the unbelievable line-up of colourful characters. The Undeniable Series is one of the best quintessential Biker/MC romances sagas you can feast your eyes upon. So you can imagine my disbelief when I realized we hadn’t added a review for the first book in the series. Spice did point out we read Undeniable before EDGy was launched, but we both agreed we’ve both read it more than once! Rambling? Hell yeah! Listening to my awesome daily mix 1 on Spotify and hearing Janis Joplin randomly come on, I took it as a sign I had to relive Eva’s story once again and share why I enjoyed it so much.
Eva Fox exudes beauty without trying. She’s generous, caring, and so eager to bring happiness to others all while being innocently oblivious of the effect her kindness has on people. She is totally indiscriminate as to whom she keeps within her inner circle of family, blood or chosen. Her kin range from the MC who, along with her father, raised her as their adored princess right through to her privileged, high-class friend Kami. Then, of course, there was Deuce. Eva bewitched him with her delightful sweet gestures as a small child while they were both visiting their fathers in prison.
Fate would have them cross paths several times over the years. Life kept them apart more than you realise until Eva points out how long they have spent together. Surprisingly because, as time goes by, the 18 years that separate them is no longer apparent and it’s obvious they were meant to be together in life.
When the drama erupts it does so with full force. Her pseudo brother Frankie became a sad and terrifying factor in her life. Why no one picked up on his dangerous behaviour was beyond me. Considering she was surrounded by so much love growing up it amazed me no one called Frankie out on his obsessive and out of control behaviour.
What astounded me reading the story this time was the amount of page time Chase received. Having read all the books in the series released to date, I had forgotten what a significant yet albeit short role he played in this book. Such is the depth and quality of the characters introduced into the story, that even while I didn’t have much time for Chase, it would be fascinating to read his POV one day.
Deuce is the opposite of an angel, by name a devil and not in the cheeky definition of his road name. He plays around, flicks off his family duties at times, and leads a lawless life. He’s far from the man your mother would be delighted to see you bring home. Eva’s father wasn’t impressed by Deuce and it took a lot of convincing for him to hold back from giving him a one-way ticket to hell. Deuce was lucky he was a valued business associate and it was in Preacher’s best interest to keep him alive.
Once again, I loved the witty banter and the candid dialog. Having finished Undeniable, I’ll be continuing on and reading the rest of the series. With any luck by the time I work my way through to the last book on my Kindle, ZZ’s book will be waiting for me to 1-Click. A girl can but dream!
