Never Ever...

Go Backwards. It was just supposed to be one night. One party to remind her of the good ole days, to remember what it had been like to have a family. It was not supposed to turn into a one night stand, and it was definitely not supposed to involve the guy every woman within a hundred miles had taken a ride on, or turn into more than just a good time.
But his eyes...
His dirty mouth...
One night couldn't hurt, right?

Never Ever...

Get involved. Never ever, commit. The only thing he was involved in, was the club. The only people he was committed to, were his brothers. He had a roof over his head, a job he liked, brothers to share the good times with. Plenty of women who came through the club if he needed to get off, women with no strings and no expectations. What else did he need?
But her ass...
The way she shot him down...
That sass!
That mouth...God, that mouth...

Book ONE in the Perdition MC series, NO CLIFFHANGERS! Meant for readers 18+

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

By SpiceHave you ever been reading a book you knew you were going to finish but you were so frustrated with it you just needed to take a break? I found myself in that situation and Never Ever caught my eye. I was warned the editing was atrocious (which it was) but that if you could get past that, it was an entertaining and interesting read.

Ever was raised in an MC but after a tragedy, left that life behind. She agreed to go to a club party at the Perdition MC, thinking she could have one little taste of the life she missed but she got way more than she bargained for. A one night stand with the hottest guy in the MC ends up with lasting repercussions for everyone.

I really liked Ever. Daughter of an MC President, she was raised to be tough and able to handle anything life threw at her, including a hot as hell alpha enforcer. She knew the score when the night was over, and proceeded to get on with her life, no matter what those consequences were.

Roar made a huge mistake when he told Ever to leave after the hottest one night stand he’d ever had. She woke his ass up, pushed all his buttons, then walked away. He found himself in a position he’d never been in with a woman, he had to chase her. Yeah, he screwed up, but then he made up for it in his single minded pursuit of something he swore he’d never want.

This is a biker-lite book with a club that’s gone clean but doesn’t mind occasionally getting its hands dirty. There was an element of suspense when Ever’s past catches up to her that I thought was interesting, but I was a tad disappointed in how easily everything was wrapped up. I also felt like one thread was just kind of left hanging, with a resolution hinted at but not seen through to completion.

Some elements of the plot had a Kristen Ashley flair to them, but more a nod to KA than a knockoff which I greatly appreciated. Again, I definitely agree that the book is in desperate need of an editor. Even Roar’s name was misspelled more than once and the overuse of commas was maddening. Still, this was a diamond in the rough that I enjoyed.
