Book #2 in the Wallflower Series. Recommend you read Book #1 to follow story.
“ ’Tis better to never have loved and lost than to live with the regret of your stupidity.” ~ Sienna Miller, Wallflower
They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, or in this case, Wallflowers to behave. Then again . . .
Sienna Miller spent her whole life being the odd woman out. Shunned and misunderstood by her family, she finally has a chance for a new start thanks to Calla and Poppy, her Wallflower sisters. Now all she needs is a Prince Charming.
Bo Strawn is a cop with a troubled past. He’s stubborn and set in his ways until a certain Wallflower shakes up his life for good. Bo’s finally got a shot at happily ever after. That is, he’s got a shot if he can solve a mystery surrounding the Wallflowers and keep his headstrong woman off the back of a horse.
Rated mature for language and sexual content.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Is there anything better than a hot, bossy, alpha male with a naughty side and a law enforcing job? Let me tell you: no, there isn’t.
In a ®CP Smith typical fashion, Wallflowers: Double Trouble is filled with action, mystery and super-hot sexy shenanigans. The beautiful Wallflowers get into as much trouble as they can find while holding the fort until their hunky, badass men come to the final rescue.
I experienced a bit of trepidation when I started the story and realized both Bo and Sienna had deep trust issues stemming from their childhoods, I was sure there was going to be a lot of hot-and-cold a la Katy Perry for most of the book. I’m so glad I was wrong! Once Bo realizes what he has found in Sienna, he goes at her at a full on gallop…literally.
I’m not going to lie and say they didn’t have problems, or that they worked out their issues instantly. It takes some time for those two troubled little kids in their past to come to terms with what no longer holds true. And when they do break those walls down what happens is pure, sexy magic.
With everything going on around them, we’re kept busy with the action and intrigue, as well as them becoming a couple. I wish we’d have a bit more time with each of them to see them work through their own issues in depth.
Bo was the usual all male, hunky, bossy alpha cop. It doesn’t hurt that he has one kinky side, but I just would have loved to see a bit more of it… if you know what I mean.
Sienna was all quirky, sassy gal. With a family history like hers it’s more than understandable to have a few unresolved stuff to deal with… and while we’re on that subject: OMG that effing ending!!!!! Not a cliffhanger per se, as Bo and Sienna’s romance and the overall suspense of the story is resolved, but it’ll still leave you waving your fist at an imaginary CP Smith with a scowly-three-year-old-on-the-verge-of-a-tantrum face for a while.
Wallflowers: Double Trouble was all I was hoping for, it made me smile, laugh and I had to fan myself on more than one occasion. Now all I need is Ms. Smith to get cracking with her move so she can get on with the writing of Poppy and Nate’s story.
