Spice's ReviewsI adore stories set in quirky little towns, and it doesn’t get much quirkier than Bliss. Bliss was founded on the principle that you live how you want and don’t judge. It’s a town that has a little bit of everything: a nudist colony, a reclusive artist who’s a BDSM connoisseur, a guy convinced there are aliens, and a nice little vegetarian couple that stages a weekly protest in the town square. Yep, I love this town and wish it was real so I could move there.

The first story set in Bliss revolves around a young woman named Rachel Swift. On the run from a crazy stalker who also happens to be an ex-cop, Rachel runs out of money just when she gets to Bliss. She was extremely sweet, smart and also very tough.

Max and Rye are twin brothers who have an extremely close twin bond and do everything…yes everything, together. They’ve always known they were going to share a woman, they just couldn’t find the right one. Max was a gruff and grouchy bear that the town pretty much catered to in an effort to keep from being at the wrong end of his wrath. Rye was the easy going twin who everyone loved. He was also the sheriff which meant Rachel wanted not one thing to do with him.

Max saw her first, and because Rye was out of town, he caught her interest. Rye felt like he needed to step back and let Max get his slice of happiness (which was stupid). Amongst the issues of trying to turn a couple into a threesome, the stalker was lurking about.

I had fun reading about the quirky little mountain town. Nothing is as it seems with several of the town members which keeps you guessing. As a couple Max and Rachel were hot but when the three of them finally came together, hot damn, I was concerned I’d burn up from all that heat they generated.

Loved the town, loved the people and had a lot of fun with this book.
