Mary-Jane wasn’t looking for drama. All she wanted was a family of her own, so she decided to make that happen. A mix-up at the sperm bank leaves her with a baby in her belly, but the father is none the wiser.
Ty was injured in a bull-riding accident, and now all he plans on doing is working on his ranch and keeping to himself. That is, until a little dark-haired woman shows up on his doorstep.
When their paths cross, will Mary-Jane be able to reveal to Ty that he’s the father? Will Ty be able to keep Mary-Jane from running? Will there be a lot of steam in this book? You betcha!
Warning: This pregnant virgin story is wonderfully ridiculous and just as sweet as it sounds. Saddle up and take an evening stroll with this easy quickie.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

OMG! I’ll just take my hat off for Ms. Riley’s utter ridiculous brilliance at writing a pregnant virgin story. It’s as ridiculous as it sounds, and I did wonder at the physiological probability of things being this way there for a moment… but who am I kidding, I loved Branding the Virgin in all its unlikely and outlandish glory.
Mari Jane or MJ decided to take matters into her own hands and get pregnant by herself, meaning she went to a fertility clinic and got artificially inseminated. One positive pregnancy test later, she learns there was a mix up with the sampled used on her and it wasn’t from an actual donor. This meant that MJ baby’s father was out there somewhere unaware that he had a baby on the way. Wanting to do the right thing she sets on finding him and letting him know.
After suffering a grave accident on his last rodeo, Ty had retired to live a quiet life on his ranch. Dreams of home and family were left behind after his accident and he’s lived in peaceful grumpiness ever since. So when a tiny thing of a girl comes to work for him and all kinds of feelings come back to life, things get unexpectedly… happy.
Now, in true Alexa Riley fashion, we have the alpha, bossy super grumpy H, who instantly falls for the innocent and sweet girl. Both of them were cute together and their circumstances were just hilarious. There is sweet loving and sexy times aplenty…
“It’s been years since I’ve had an orgasm, and I’m a little terrified of the amount of cum that I’m going to put inside her. I’d say if she wasn’t already pregnant, it’s likely she would be after this first time.”
Branding the Virgin was a truly inventive story and I loved it. You just have to take it as it is and not in a serious way, or else you’ll miss the absurd genius of it.
