By SpiceIt’s Lake Season!

My husband’s idea of a perfect day starts with watching the sunrise from the sailboat, then some tubing with the kids on the ski boat, and ending it eating a picnic style dinner back on the sailboat while watching the sunset. This works well for me since:

1.) I get to sleep in since I’m not required to go on the sunrise sails, and

2.) Our sailboat has a cabin so I can read. He even made me a redneck air conditioner for when it’s hot because I may be half southern, but I don’t like sweating, and it gets hot here.

Whenever I’m on the water, I am grateful both the boats have awesome sound systems as does the screened porch at the cabin when we’re back on land again. My Lake playlist has 177 songs on it so it was tough picking a top ten but I pulled on my big girl panties and came through. It’s a mix of ski boat music vs. sailboat music that guests just rave over. Scroll down past the videos for a list of all 171 songs. You can also follow me on Spotify where I have not only this list but others I’ve put together like the one for Kristen Ashley’s Colorado Mountain Series. Enjoy!

At the end of the Top Ten List is the Spotify Playlist you can listen to or follow.

PS: I’m always looking for new music to add to these playlists so I’d love to hear what your favorite songs are when you’re on the water.
