Sometimes a kiss is so much more...

Single mom Lena Oserkowski just wants to relax at the 5-star resort where her brother is getting married. Oh, and figure out how to make one of her businesses successful enough to support her son. Her focus is thrown out of whack when Elliot Debusshere, twin brother of her new sister-in-law, swims to her rescue at the hotel pool.

Elliot is disillusioned with his wealthy, playboy lifestyle and wants nothing more than to bring some meaning and purpose to the charity he runs. When he rescues Lena from a case of heat exhaustion and meets her son Tyler, he has no idea the answer to his problems might have just fallen in his lap. Literally.

With Lena's ideas and Elliot's know-how, they might just be able to make their ventures a success. Except pleasure has a sneaky way of mixing with their business, leaving both dazed and confused. Charming as he is, Elliot isn't father material. And there's no room for a single mom and her child in his life. While the attraction between them isn't easily squashed, there's no telling the lengths his family will go to prevent a relationship.

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

Review Header

By SparklesKissing her Crazy takes place in a tropical resort where Lena’s big brother is getting married to Elliot’s twin sister.

Coming from an influential family, Elliot is used to a bachelor, carefree existence, only lately he’s started to feel restless and unfulfilled by his lifestyle. Working for his parents’ charity, he is the top fundraiser and the pretty handsome public face of it, but nothing more.

Lena’s background couldn’t be more different, she is a single mom living at her brother’s house working part time and with lots of business ventures ideas – some great, some not some much… unfortunately, not all of them have panned out. Taking into account her lack of funds to back them, well, she doesn’t have a lot of confidence left for her ideas.

As soon as they set eyes on each other, Elliot and Lena feel an attraction like nothing else they’ve felt before. But he’s never been into relationships and he wouldn’t know what to do with a kid, and Lena is not sure she has time to take on another kid besides her own… even if he is the hottest man-child on Earth.

Well, their chemistry won’t be denied, and they each bring out in the other the best of themselves. But things are never just that easy. With a great opposition from Elliot’s family and their own insecurities, it’s not certain they’ll be able to make it work. They’ll have to fight for a chance at true love.

Well, this was a sweet and entertaining enough book. The characters were likable (except for the parents, those two were snobbishly rude and I’d love to slap the snootiness out of them). Their time together was pretty steamy and at times downright hot. I didn’t completely connect to either of them, but I liked Elliot more than Lena, as she was a bit prejudiced and quick to make judgments on Elliot whom she didn’t really know at the time.

Still, it was a good read and it left me with a smile on my face, so I’m glad I gave it a chance.
