He has everything under control. Except her .

Reece Wilde put everything in his life on the backburner to protect his brothers and their struggling company, Wilde Security. With a major contract on the line, Reece can't afford any mistakes...like getting caught in a red-hot, X-rated moment with wild child Shelby Bremer, who's more trouble than he can handle. Now he's being blackmailed.

Shelby's mile-long impulsive streak gets her in more trouble than she'd like to admit. Between her sister's wedding, her coffee shop set on fire, and getting down and dirty with the groom's brother, things are definitely coming off the rails. With both their careers and their safety on the line, Reece is determined to keep them both safe...even if it means a Vegas-style shotgun wedding.
But gambling on a wild card-and a wild soul-is risky...and sometimes, it can get a guy killed.

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

By SparklesThis was an action packed, suspenseful story. Reece is a geek at heart but feels he needs to present a serious, proper persona to be in business so he can support financially his brothers’ security agency.

Shelby is pretty much the opposite. From her out of the ordinary clothing style, to her ever changing multicolored hair and copious amounts of ink, she’s made some bad choices in her life and has tried to learn from her mistakes. But sometimes the consequences of your actions follow you around, for years.

Reece and Shelby are more than hot for each other and an inappropriate encounter between them gets caught on tape. When someone starts to blackmailing Reece just before a very important deal to a conservative investor, and Shelby’s place of business gets burned to the ground, they come up with a plan that’ll benefit them both: they’ll get married.

If only life followed one’s plans.

Soon they find themselves falling for each other, but both of them keeping secrets. Between a blackmailer and a pyromaniac will they be able to survive, let alone fall in love?

Now, Wilde at Heart is the third book on the Wilde Security series. And while I’m used to picking up reads on and ongoing series and this is a standalone story, I must confess that at times I found myself a little bit lost without the back story. I assume what I didn’t get were things that took place in the previous two books: like Shelby’s history, the situation with both Vaughn and Greer… Where I’m going with this is, while I did enjoy this story, I think it would be better if read in its proper order.
