How many times can a person fall down and still get back up? How many times can things go wrong before you just give up?

I’ve lost everything. My home, my job, my purpose in life—everything has been turned upside down. But while life hasn’t exactly turned out the way I would have liked it to, I wouldn’t change a thing. If things were different, I wouldn’t have Lacey. I wouldn’t have Michael.

But most importantly, I wouldn’t have him.

I’ve realized what I feel. He knew it before I did. Only one question remains:

Is he capable of feeling the same way?

Secrets are a prison, and I have been behind bars for years. Sloane Romera has been turning keys in all of my locks, throwing light on corners of my mind that I thought would forever be shrouded in darkness. Or at least I had hoped would be.

I have done so many wrongs in this life, and yet this woman has forgiven me. She’s done something I never thought possible—she has learned to understand me, and she hasn’t run. She’s amazed me. She’s saved me. She’s fallen in love with me.

If it’s within my power, I’m about to do the same for her.

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

By LilyTwisted finished on a HFN moment, but I have a feeling the get out of jail card is not as good as it appears. Rebel is a mystery.

“It’s probably going to cost us everything” Zeth tells me, his arms carefully, tentatively wrapping around my waist, drawing me to him. I nod, because I already know this. I already know it, and I’ve made my peace with it. “Then that’s what it takes.”

I couldn’t put Twisted down, still absorbed in what will happen next. Zeth and Sloane are on the run and the secondary characters again have revealed more about themselves adding to the mystery of why people have behaved as they have. Rebel is continuing to seem more of a good guy than bad. Lacey appears more adjusted than previously. Michael is solid. Pippa, I don’t want to discuss. Charlie is a creep, a manipulator that I am sure I know who he is, but what he is playing at is beyond me. And what on earth Lexie has done to come under Lowe’s attention must be big, or maybe whatever has been pinned on Lexie is big which begs the questions, why and who…

So with all that spinning around in my head, I need to dive right into Collateral. The title has me worried as to who may not make it!

If you’ve been following my reviews on this series, you’ll know that I purchased this series through Smashwords and I was able to get Twisted and Collateral as a bundle:
