Two secret pasts... one passionate love story.

Taryn Malone is stranded, broke, and desperate for help. But even if the sexy bartender she's been eyeing offers her a job for the evening... even if he seduces her with his impossibly intense blue eyes... even if every fiber of her heart tells her to stay with him... she can't.

Because Taryn Malone doesn't exist.

Jake Callaghan has been running the family's Irish pub for years now. When he sees Taryn standing out alone in the rain, he does what he's been trained to do as a SEAL - he rescues her. It has nothing to do with her full, firm curves, or her loose, golden-blonde hair, or the way she brushes against him that sends lightning bolts through his body. It's just the right thing to do.

But both Taryn and Jake are hiding secrets from each other. Dangerous secrets. And neither one of them knows just how dangerous it can be to fall in love...

This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.

Plenty of Callaghan’s to go around…

I really enjoyed Dangerous Secrets, a story about a woman on the run from her past and a man who was stopped in his tracks with just one look.

Taryn has been living a very quiet and secret life after a tragedy in her youth. She comes into a little town when her car breaks down. This was just a stop-over and not something she planned. She walks into a bar owned by the Callaghan’s.

Jake Callaghan is one of the many Callaghan brothers who own and run a pub. On a very busy night he spots a woman and instantly feels an attraction.

This story has action, adventure, friendship and sexy times. Loved the friendship Taryn makes with the brothers and the way she can hold her own with them. There was a great connection between Jake and Taryn.

Two little negatives… first the good old insta-love Jake felt towards Taryn and secondly that Taryn was a little too close to some of the brothers. At one stage I wasn’t even sure which brother was going to win her.

Definitely reading more in this series…plenty of these tough brothers to go around.
