Ford spills blood as an enforcer for the Little Memphis MC.
Shay makes an impulsive choice to start over her life in a wild city controlled by a motorcycle club.
Meeting Shay at the MC´s bar Suede, Ford sees her as a shiny new toy to spice up his life. Shay sees him as a sexy bastard she needs to avoid.
The city of Little Memphis is filled with violence and dubious loyalties. The days of the club’s supremacy are over as enemies fight for territory and alliances fall apart. It’s a dangerous time to find love, but Ford and Shay have never been good at playing life smart.
Little Memphis is the first book in the Little Memphis MC series by author Bijou Hunter. Other books in the series will focus on a different couple but share supporting characters. The story is told from dual points of view of the main characters, Pax and Shay, and has a medium steam level.
“I know it’s a mistake, but I’m falling for you.”
“I know and it’s fucking beautiful.”
I’m not sure this story will rate as high for all readers, but I loved it! Even though I’m a self-confessed fan of this author, I have to admit that some of her work has been a bit hit or miss. This was definitely a hit! Pax and Ford are the best brother duo team I can remember. I am absolutely a fan of these two ass holes! I am dying for Pax to get his own story (Broken Memphis, coming in late 2014).
“You’re being weird.”
“Is it weird to crave you?”
Shay grins. “Yes. You’re weird.”
I roll my eyes. “Fuck you for being addictive.”
“I’m sorry my pussy is so addictive . Maybe there’s a twelve step program to help you.”
I picked this book up on a whim with only lukewarm expectations and found myself highlighting passages and laughing out loud throughout the day as I read it. Overall, I’d rate this 4.0 for a guilty pleasure, enjoyable read but a big 5.0 rating for immature one liners and funny as hell banter! A great “can’t take too seriously” book. So happy for Bijou Hunter to have such a solid book to start this new series off with. Can’t wait for more!
